Tree Stump Furniture Tips

There are several ways to turn tree stumps into beautiful and original pieces of furniture. You can use the whole stump with its roots for a really unique, one of a kind table top or stool.

A tree stump may be carved and polished or left natural and rustic when used as a base for a table. Perhaps a beveled shatter-proof thick glass is a perfect table top when you wish to see the beautiful wood grain or roots.

Tree stumps can also be made into chairs. We’ve seen tree stumps on wheels to make them mobile, or made into benches, stools or chairs. It just takes a few tools and a little creativity.
