Dead Tree Removal

Dead trees may be hazardous to a homeowner’s property. When a tree dies, it decays and this weakens the trunk. There may be fungi or other decay organisms that make it more likely to break and this may not always be obvious to you. Once a tree is dead and decayed, the trunk or stem has a higher risk of snapping and posing a danger.

If a tree has large branches, consider branches overhanging roofs, fences, vehicles, or other liabilities. Limbs can easily break off during strong wind or an ice storm, or just because the structure is weak from old age.  Large trees have the greatest potential for this to happen. Please note that we do not remove single branches (live or dead) that are still attached to the tree, but rather focus on removing entire trees.

If you know there is a dead tree on your property, call us for a free assessment and estimate for its removal.
