Once a tree is taken down, we use a tree chipper, also known as a wood chipper, in order to reduce the tree branches and trunks into wood chips.
Tree chippers are composed of a hopper and a collar. The chipping mechanism and sometimes a bin collect the woodchips, easy for hauling. We feed the tree limbs into the hopper, which serves as a safety device, as they go through the chipping mechanism. The woodchips come out the other end, either onto the ground or a container bin.
If you need woodchips to use as mulch for landscaping, or a children’s playground , give us a call. We give these away for free and sometime even deliver them at no cost, if you happen to be on or close to our route.
